After Invisalign® Comes Retainers
Once your teeth have been aligned after your prescribed time period, you will be in the crucial step of maintenance. The typical timeline for wearing retainers after Invisalign® treatment is three to six months; however, cases vary and to know the best course of action for you and your teeth, it is best to speak to your dentist. It is important to note: If you do not consistently wear your retainer, it not only may extend the time you have to wear your retainer, but you may also need to go back and wear your aligners again.
