With a father and two uncles who were also dentists, you could say dentistry is in Dr. Richard Stanley’s blood. He grew up with a first-hand glimpse of the impact dentistry has on the health and wellbeing of his family’s patients. Dr. Stanley earned a B.S. degree in Biology from Florida State University and graduated from the University of Florida’s College of Dentistry in 1986. He entered private practice that same year with a vision: to provide patients with exceptional dental care in a warm and friendly environment. Dr. Stanley continued his dental studies at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dentistry as well as the Misch International Implant Institute and continues to take a rigorous schedule of continuing education courses. Over the course of his 30-year career, Dr. Stanley has remained at the forefront of his field by investing in cutting-edge technology. Widely recognized as the preeminent training program for dental professionals, LVI education signifies a commitment to the highest standards of quality and care.
Dr. Stanley is also a contributor on RealSelf. He is dedicated to being a mentor to our associate doctor team and has a passion for researching and staying current on technology and dental procedures. He is an advocate of regular training sessions with the dental team of The Smile Centre to further hone the knowledge and skill of every member of our staff. While many patients seek the care of Dr. Stanley for his credentials and reputation for excellence, it is his kind and genuine chair side manner that have earned him the loyalty and word-of-mouth recommendations of his patients. In his leisure time, Dr. Stanley enjoys spending time with his wife, Tricia, and his step-daughter, Jordan. They all enjoy participating in Hwa Rang Do, a Korean martial art and Special Ops Leadership Academy. Dr. Stanley also enjoys weight-lifting, biking, outdoor adventuring, reading, and singing. Dr. Stanley has an engaging personality and loves to be around people. You can see him out and about all over our community.
