Meet Dr. Gabriela Rocha

Dr. Gabriela Rocha was born in Bahia, a state in the coast of Brazil. At age 15, she moved and settled in Sarasota, Florida. Before dentistry became a big part of her life, Dr. Rocha was an instructor of “Capoeira,” a Brazilian martial arts that encompass music, self-defense, and acrobatics. She opened her own Capoeira studio along with her husband, teaching children, adults, and people with special needs.

Dr. Rocha is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.

At the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL, Dr. Rocha began her education, earning her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. She continued pursuing a career in dentistry at the LECOM School of Dental Medicine, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, FL.

Dr. Rocha’s goal is to deliver the highest-quality care utilizing cutting-edge techniques to her patients through the pursuit and commitment of lifelong learning. She enjoys taking continuing education courses and offering a broad variety of dental services including smile makeover, Invisalign, root canal therapy, dental crowns and bridges, dental implants, pediatric dentistry, and sedation dentistry to keep her patients comfortable and safe during treatment.

When Dr. Rocha isn’t practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, walking her dogs, Bella and Rio, going into outdoor adventures, doing hot yoga, and exercising.
