This is the best dentist I’ve ever been to! I went to another dentist earlier in the week and it was horrible experience I went looking elsewhere and I am so happy that it’s out! Christina and Dr. Alter are the best!!
Friendly staff, informative hygienists.
I appreciated the extra care that our hygienist took to make my son comfortable. My son is autistic and we were very nervous about what each step of cleaning would mean for him. My only goal was to get him to allow her to count his teeth. Earlier in the week, she was told about three of my son’s favorite things to talk about. She remembered them and made comparisons to those topics while she was working with him. Bringing these topics up helped him connect something familiar to this unknown experience. She put him at ease and helped him get through tooth counting, plaque removal AND polishing! I couldn’t believe it and couldn’t have been happier. The Dr. came in to check for cavities and how he interacted with my son was amazing as well! The only thing he requested for next time was to have bubblegum flavored toothpaste. For a 5 year old autistic boy to walk out of his first dental experience with that being his request, I consider this more than a 5 star win! Thank you so much Smile Centre for taking my son’s needs into consideration and being so sensitive to his needs. We are patients for life!
Great friendly staff, never have to wait. Having moved to a new location Dr. Jason Alter is great. Pamela the hygienist was also amazing. Everyone takes the time to talk and get to know you.
Yesterday was my very first time going to The Smile Centre Sarasota office on the South Trail. I have always been terrified of the dentist due to past negative experiences but when I walked in I was welcomed by Jill & Kim, and then taken to the back for my appointment by Kim (Dr. Alter’s Assistant) only to see that they had a welcome note as well and a gift for me!!! Kim took my x-rays & photos & she constantly ask & made sure that I was comfortable during the entire process (she is AWESOME! by the way!) I then was seen by the dentist Dr. Jason Alter who was so very nice & he made sure to go thru in detail to make sure that I understood what my x-rays showed & then went on to explain step by step in detail the treatment plan that would help me to obtain the results that I would like to achieve as well as making sure to answer any questions or concerns that I had. I know that it was only my first visit, but I truly can say that I am looking forward to my next visit without any anxiety or fear thanks to The Smile Centre –South Trail & their wonderful staff! Thank y’all so much for everything! You guys are absolutely AMAZING!!!!
Wow! What a great experience across the board, from the check-in process until the very end. The staff is personable and makes you feel at home. Best dentist ever!
