Kim is from South Gardiner, Maine and joined our team in February of 2015. She came to our practice with the knowledge, passion, and experience in dentistry. With over 20 years of dental experience, Kim is very passionate about changing people’s perception of dentistry into a more positive and comfortable experience. She works to diminish the dental anxiety and unwarranted fears. Kim enjoys creating a positive, calming atmosphere for our guests. She loves dental photography and educating guests about the benefits of a healthy mouth. In her free time, Kim likes reading, trivia, dancing, and walking her dog!

Yesterday was my very first time going to The Smile Centre Sarasota office on the South Trail. I have always been terrified of the dentist due to past negative experiences but when I walked in I was welcomed by Jill & Kim, and then taken to the back for my appointment by Kim (Dr. Alter’s Assistant) only to see that they had a welcome note as well and a gift for me!!! Kim took my x-rays & photos & she constantly ask & made sure that I was comfortable during the entire process (she is AWESOME! by the way!) I then was seen by the dentist Dr. Jason Alter who was so very nice & he made sure to go thru in detail to make sure that I understood what my x-rays showed & then went on to explain step by step in detail the treatment plan that would help me to obtain the results that I would like to achieve as well as making sure to answer any questions or concerns that I had. I know that it was only my first visit, but I truly can say that I am looking forward to my next visit without any anxiety or fear thanks to The Smile Centre –South Trail & their wonderful staff! Thank y’all so much for everything! You guys are absolutely AMAZING!!!!
