Porcelain Veneers Give You a Movie Star Smile

Having a Hollywood red carpet smile is actually more obtainable than many people imagine thanks to porcelain veneers. Veneers are ultra-thin shells that cover the outside of your teeth to mask imperfections. They can be designed to give you your ideal smile in regards to shape, size and color, and can be completed in just two office visits. Porcelain veneers are often part of a smile makeover treatment, a collection of cosmetic procedures used to enhance the appearance of your teeth, or can be used during a full mouth reconstruction.

The Veneer Process

What makes porcelain veneers such a popular cosmetic dentistry procedure is how easy and quickly the treatment can be performed. After a brief consultation and exam, we will take digital images of your teeth and use our Digital Smile Design software to show you a mockup of what your smile will look like after the veneers have been placed. You will be able to make adjustments to the shape, size and color of your veneers until you achieve the perfect smile for you. After you are happy with how your veneers look, we will send the information to a trusted dental lab to construct your veneers. During your second appointment with us, we will bond your veneers to your teeth by simply removing a thin later of enamel. Porcelain veneers are durable and designed to last many years with proper at-home care.

Since the treatment is so quick and the results nearly immediate, veneers are often called “instant orthodontics.” Veneers are excellent cosmetic enhancements, but they do not correct the underlying concern; they simply mask it. If you are seeking a more permanent solution to crooked or gaped teeth or damaged teeth, then Invisalign® orthodontics or dental crowns may be a good option for you. Our friendly doctors and staff are experienced in creating beautiful cosmetic veneers to give you the bright white smile you desire.
