Damaged or Missing Teeth?

If you have damaged teeth or are missing several teeth in a row, a dental crown or bridge may be the solution you are looking for to restore the appearance and function to your smile. Dental crowns are commonly used to restore a tooth’s function and appearance after it has been damaged or is missing. A dental bridge is a collection of crowns that span the gap of one or more missing teeth. Dental bridges are effective at restoring function back to your mouth where missing teeth are, allowing you to eat and speak more naturally.

Dental Crowns—Versatile Restorations

Dental crowns are one of the most common restorative procedures performed. If you have a broken, chipped or cracked tooth, you likely experience pain or discomfort when using it normally. Our doctors can reshape your damaged tooth and fit it with a lifelike dental crown to protect the structure of the tooth and restore biting and chewing function. If you are replacing a missing tooth with a dental implant, crowns are used to cap the implant and give it its natural look and function. Crowns can restore a tooth that suffers from a variety of concerns, including protect damaged teeth, restore teeth after a root canal, restore dental implants, and cover malformed or stained teeth.

Bridges Span the Gap of Missing Teeth

If you are missing teeth, but not ready for a dental implant, a bridge may be a good option. With a dental bridge in place, your missing teeth are temporarily replaced with crowns, which allow you to bite and chew more naturally and restores the appearance of your smile. We will create a collection of three or more crowns that connect to abutment teeth on either side of the missing teeth. This bridge will look natural and be comfortably secured in your mouth. We recommend using dental bridges as only a temporary restoration until your missing teeth can be replaced with dental implants, as a bridge does not provide the necessary jaw bone stimulation to prevent bone deterioration. Dental bridges restore biting and chewing function, enhance appearance after tooth loss, prevent teeth from shifting, and improve speech and self-confidence.
